Apostolos Vourdas,
MRCPsych, CCST, Ph.D.,
Apostolos is a graduate of the Medical School of Athens. He specialised in Child Psychiatry in Cambridge, England. He has been an elected member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2000. He worked as a Consultant at Maudsley Hospital and the Institute of Psychiatry in London for a number of years.
Upon his return to Greece, he collaborated for 7 years as a researcher and faculty member at the University Child Psychiatric Clinic of Children's Hospital "Saint Sophia". His scientific work has been published in international journals and books. He specialises in the field of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Psychiatric Forensics. Apostolos is a member of the Scientific Committee of ADHDHellas and Vice President of the Hellenic Psychiatric Forensic Society.
One of his activities is the writing and creation of the Method "Positive Parents Happy Children", which is addressed to primary school children with behavioral problems and hyperactivity.
