Eleana Armao,
B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.Dc.
Eleana is a Developmental Psychologist having completed her basic studies at the Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2017 she graduated with honors from her postgraduate studies (MSc) in Developmental Psychology from the University of Kent in England. In January 2019, she was accepted as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Preschool Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Eleana has also worked therapeutically with children and adolescents suffering from developmental and emotional difficulties in different contexts, such as in a hostel for unaccompanied minor refugees, a treatment center for children - adolescents, etc. Her research interests include parental psychology, qualitative research methods, attachent theory, psychoanalytic developmental psychology, and children in the refugee crisis.
