Maria Kefalopoulou,
B.Sc., Pg. Dip., M.Sc., Ph.D., ECP

Maria, after completing her undergraduate studies in Greece, lived in France, where she undertook undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies. Returning to Greece, she pursued the profession of Psychologist and Counsellor, specialized in the Person-Centered Approach.
She is working with the issues of relationships, domestic violence as well as the diversity of violence and traumatic experiences with diligence and coordination of such seminars, while also lecturing, presenting in conferences and publishing scientific texts.
In the context of her involvement with the person-centered approach, she is active in the study of the philosophy and the socio-political dimensions of the approach, as well as in the elaboration of new concepts of research and person-centered supervision. Her focus on the philosophical perspective of the person-centered approach has been the subject of lectures and presentations at conferences.
 
Maria is a trainer in the ICPS Counselling Department and responsible for supervision. At the same time, she teaches at the postgraduate programme of Psychology, covering subjects of domestic violence and abuse.
