M.Sc. in the Psychology of Child Development Module Description for PS4204 Infant Behavior & Development

The module will focus on important aspects of infant development; social, cognitive, emotional, temperamental and motivational.  The major emphasis will be upon factors influencing these areas of development during infancy period (0-2 years) and their implications for longer term development.    Examples of topics offered for more detailed study are: Social Ecology of Infancy Social Development of Infancy Infant Emotions and Temperament Physical Development Origins of Language
