Evangelos Kanavitsas,
B.Sc., Pg.Dip., M.Sc., ECP

Evangelos is a psychologist specialising in the Person-Centered Approach and holds a master's degree in Applied Psychology. Since 1996 he has worked in the following positions: attended the external psychiatric clinics of the Prefectural Hospital of Karditsa, was a member of the Psychosocial Care Group of the 16th Infantry Division and staffed the office of psychologists of the 414 Military Hospitals.

In 2002 he started his private psychology practice in Karditsa and at the same time collaborated with the group of schools "New Education", coordinated youth counselling groups within the KESYP (Counselling and Information Center) of Karditsa and in collaboration with the “Karditsa Development” provided counselling sessions to unemployed women and members of minority groups.

In 2007 Evangelos moved to Piraeus and was appointed as a psychologist at the Korydallos Detention Center where he provides individual and group psychological support to prisoners, helps to implement educational and therapeutic programs for prisoners, supervises the internship of psychology students and participates in prison administration.
