Katerina Fragkou,
B.Sc., M.Α., Ph.D.

Katerina is a lecturer in the Department of Legal and Criminological Psychology, having completed her basic studies in London (City University of London) in the Department of International Relations. In 2012 she graduated from the postgraduate studies in European Studies (University College London). During the same period she completed her second postgraduate degree in Education (Michigan State University). In March 2016 Katerina was accepted as a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Criminal Law at Walden University in Minneapolis / Minnesota. Her dissertation deals with the study of ways of informing parents and teachers about the detection of electronic child exploitation through qualitative research.

Katerina also works with children and teenagers in different contexts. Her research interests are the psychology of parents and children, the safe use of the internet by children, quality research methods as well as children suffering from domestic violence.
