Panagiotis Apotsos,
B.Sc., Pg.Dip., M.Sc., ECP

Panagiotis originally studied Economics (BSc) in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA), Department of Economics, but his connection with Person-Centred Approach, led him to change his career, so in 2007 he completed his studies in Psychology at the Department of Psychology at the University of Athens and he obtained the Practicing Psychologist License from the Prefecture of Athens. During periods 2003-2004 and 2007-2008 he was trained/collaborated in Group Facilitation from/with Polly Iossifides and Ioulios Iossifides respectively.
He participated with a presentation in the International Person Centered Congress, held in Athens on the summer 2009. He served as a member of the Action Force of the Counselors without Frontiers - department of the Hellenic Association for Counselling (HAC). In 2009 he was elected as a member of the Board and he became Chairman of the HAC subsequently, until  2011. In 2009 Panagiotis was accepted at the Post Graduate Programme of Specialization (MSc), of the Nursing School of UOA, Faculty of Mental Health, from which he graduated with Honors in 2011. He has accomplished the 4th year of Person Centered Psychotherapy training and he was awarded the European Certificate of Psychotherapy. He has also been trained in the Rorschach inkblot test. He has been trained in Diagnose and Therapy of Psychosexual Disorders in the two-year Post Graduate Seminar at the University Mental Health Research Institute (UMHRI).
He is a member of the therapists group at the Sexual Clinic, 1st Dep. of Psychiatry, Εginitio University Hospital. 
He is an external collaborator of the Psycho Social Studies Laboratory of Northern Greece, Alexandroupolis. Panagiotis works as a Psychologist / Psycho-sexologist and as a Counseling Supervisor at private practice. He has published psychological articles in the local press and in Scientific Journals. 
He is also a member of: the Association of Greek Psychologists, the European Association for Counseling, the World Association for Person Centered & Experiential Psychotherapy & Counselling (WAPCEPC), and the European Association for Psychotherapy.
He is currently collaborating with ICPS as a Trainer and Supervisor at the program; «Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling». He has elaborated and presented seminars as; “Sex Development Disorders in childhood” and “An Introduction to Psycho-Sexual Disorders”. His scientific/clinic interests include the development of the Person Centered Theory and Practice in particular fields such as the Psychosexual Disorders, as well as, research in the quality of life in Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
