Psychosexual Therapy is one of the newest and fastest evolving therapies worldwide. A large number of professionals, including psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, and specialists in related fields, are keenly interested in this specialization. The World Health Organization (WHO, 2002) defines sexual health as "a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality". Psychosexual disorders, therefore, often prevent the person from having a balanced sex life, due to various causes.
The Master in Psychosexual Therapy is specifically designed to develop the skills required to apply the principles and knowledge of psychology to environments related to sexual health, sexual disorders, and interpersonal relationships. During their studies, students will get to know the principles of psychosexual therapy and their application in a practical therapeutic environment.
