M.Sc. in Person - Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy

General Information

In 1989, a pioneering counselling & psychotherapy training programme was designed by the Counsellor – Psychotherapist Mrs. Polly Iossifides, the Emeritus Professor of the Athens University Dr. Ioulios Iossifides, and Dr. Charles Devonshire, Clinical Psychologist – Psychotherapist and close associate of the founder of the Person – Centred counselling psychology, Carl Rogers.

After 25 years of operation, consecutive quality controls, continuous improvement as well as certification by the British State University of Strathclyde, the particular postgraduate programme is currently considered as the most potent training for Person – Centred Counsellors – Psychotherapists.

This is certified by the confidence – development of its students and the professional success of its alumni, as well as by its formal evaluations. Particularly, Dr. Paul Wilkins, External Examiner and Professor of the British Metropolitan University of Manchester, among other things declares: “It is an excellent, well – designed and well applied programme that is delivered by a team of scientists with exceptional abilities and true devotion… One of its most impressive characteristics is the way in which students experience the theory and move from theory to practice and back...”.
